Van Long is a legendary land and an amazingly beautiful landscape for tourism, while at the same time, the largest mangrove nature reserve in northern delta, Ninh Binh province. Van Lang reserve is on area of 2,643 hectares in seven communes of Gia Vien district. In the Van Long forest, there are 457 species of plants, eight of which are listed in Vietnam’s Red Book. There are 39 species of animals, including nine precious species such as languor, Tibetan bear, chamois, Loris, and red-face monkey. There are nine reptiles listed in Vietnam’s Red Book such as grass-snake, varan, slow and harmless boas, and gecko.
Day 1: Hanoi -Kenh Ga- Cuc Phuong Trekking ( L,D )
AM: 8h00 AM Depart for Ninh Binh province. Along the 2 hour bus journey, you can take photographs of Viet Nam peaceful countryside. Arrive in Cuc Phuong. Visit Centre of Endangered Rescue where still appear precious animals, such as: white shorts monkeys, fruit eating ape, tree welling, monkeys. Start trekking to discover the variety of fauna and flora of the forest in fresh atmosphere in the forest. Visit Cho trees - the huge ones would take ten arms length in circumference and the Cave of prehistoric man.
PM: Visit KENH GA by bicycle. Take a trip to admire beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains, fresh air and wet rice fields , and to see the daily life people catching fish. Visit the floating villge KENH GA, continue visiting Van Trinh Cave. Late afternoon, you come back to the hotel in Ninh Binh for dinner. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 2: Van Long Natural Preservation (B,L)
AM: Breakfast in the hotel then you visit VAN LONG Natural Preservation. Take the bamboo boat to visit the Bong( Shadow) cave, enjoy and take photograph beautiful scenery and animals. Turn back to the hotel for lunch and 30 minutes later, you get on car back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi Capital at about 16h00.
